The class gathering was obviously fun! First game was monkey and I was the monkey for eons until I go crazy each time the ball went out of control. I tried to snatch the ball from Zeng twice but she won't let me! Then they played beach volleyball and then the beach soccer. The beach soccer was FREAKISHLY fun. At first I was the referee, because I brought my sis phone and the phone's red. Too bad there wasn't a yellow phone. At the final game, I was the goalkeeper, it's fun and slack being the goalkeeper. But was uber scared of fast balls, am very afraid of kissing the ball. My specs will get smashed, my face will hurt super badly, I'll...uh, I don't know what will happen next actually.
More photos to come soon, please wait.
Saw 2 German kids, lorenz (german for lawrence) and Marven. (I think it's spelt like that) They are hard-to-describably CUTE! Even my sis says they're cute, can! Marven smiles sooo sweetly and Lorenz just dropped his front tooth.

"All I want for christmas is my two front teeth..."
cute, cute kids

Public Duty - Kusu Island

Us in the ambulance when we were waiting to set off at the HQ.

7 bottles of Good Earth bottles, meant for us to drink if we need to. A foreigner tried to buy a bottle from us, waving her $2 note triumphantly. (She was digging for it for ages.)
This is what I was staring at for 6 hours.
Nice view from the 3rd floor

I didn't go to the Kusu Island at all, because of cramps and we (Yi Jun, BC, Jason, me)  stayed at the jetty all the while. There were 2 groups of us, 4 in each. One group was stationed in Singapore whereas the other was stationed at Kusu Island.

Ironically, although the 6 hours were torturously boring, a few interesting things did happen.
Not in any chronological order or any other order you can think of.
 1. Saw an incredibly cute ang-moh girl, her blonde hair was plaited and her messy bangs complimented her blue eyes.
 2. Two guys nearly fought, they were hurling hokkien vulgarities at each other super loudly. It finally stopped when the police came and resolved the issue. It was happening right before my eyes, I can't help but stare.
  3. Lots of people mistook the first aid post to be the Information Counter.
  4. A female lifeguard hurt her knees when Johnson just reached the first aid post. Funny thing is, lifeguards should know basic first aid and one of her friends was actually carrying a first aid pouch same as ours only that it's of a darker shade.
  5. Saw a security guard with Elvis sideburns.
  6. A guy was 'mopping' the floor using an unconventional method. It wasn't really unconventional actually, it's just how they mop large areas like lobbies or shopping malls.  He had this big machine and wherever the machine went, it mopped the floor, provided that you switch on the machine, duh. Watching the machine mop was therapeutic.
  7. Ang-moh wanted to buy bottled water from us - refer to the 2nd photo above.

Morning
Enxin asked me to be the page-turner in the morning and I was shocked and kind of afraid because music scores are like Gaelic to me. 但是我硬着头皮答应了她。At first it was difficult but after the choir finished singing, the scores were less of a stranger. After service was sunday school then training.

I've just slept for like 5 hours straight after finishing the previous post. I don't know why my eyes just could not stay open and the eyelids are getting heavier. It's a sensation I have so far not experienced before; extreme fatigue.

The first activity we did was abseiling and believe or not, I did it! It used to be my scariest activity before I went to the camp. I grabbed the string really hard and I couldn't have a good grip on the string with the glove on. Other than that there were the team bonding games, rope courses and mud games. We couldn't do the flying fox activity because of the rain, what a waste. The best day was obviously not the first and third day, those were horrific and horrendous experiences. On some occasions, we were the forgotten class

Day one was appalling, they made us cram in the small space - Multi Purpose Hall with our bags on our laps for so long, so long that before we can do any activity, we would lose our legs due to lack of blood circulation.

On the third day, there was area cleaning and it seems easy to clean the canteen but it's not so when you mop before you sweep the floor. We were like madly sweeping the wet floor while the guys were just sitting there watching. Like how does that feel man, we're like slaves and they are like "I am going to do what I like, you can do all the stuff", not only on that day, it's throughout the camp, I tell you.

On the other end of the spectrum, day two we were all very bonded and we had fun. During the campfire, we yelled ourselves hoarse like mad dogs on the loose.

I kept thinking that the guys were childish and immature but after thinking through, I concluded that I am just like them too. Who am I to judge them? Then a verse popped in my mind - "Why do you see the speck in your brother's eye but fail to notice the beam in your own eye?" from Matthew 7:3. And actually, I am worst than them. And, sorry to those whom I've snapped at during the camp, especially heng ah ma, haha.

Ahh, I feel much better. (:
I'm back from camp.
I'm awfully pooped.   < click.
I'm going to sleep once my hair is dry.
I'm going to like sleep forever until the aliens reach Earth.

I am going to join Daniel Powter to sing Bad Day during the Estates tour, from Yishun Ring Road to Ang Mo Kio, PHS to Bishan, J8. Don't even think of buying tickets, it's sold out on the first day of sales, even better than F1 races. But if you're like super determind to squeeze a ticket out, you can always go to Cease-tick.
Today and yesterday was the worst 48 hours ever, I am shocked that I had such lousy day 2 days in a row!

The GeeNest World Book of Records
Worst Days record
Record Holder : Qiu Jin
Ripples Rip My Mood
Day 1 : 10 October 2008
Where : Home & Bishan Junction 8, Celeste
I wanted to buy Ripples Bag and after checking out the website and found the nearest retailer, J8 but at that time I was somehow blinded for a second or what, I took Bugis Junction for Junction 8. How smart.
But before I realise that mistake, something deadly happened. Ooh, intense, intense!
I locked myself in a room and when I wanted to go out, The lock was jammed, no matter how hard I tried to pick the lock, to push and bang the door I cannot get out of the room. I am trapped in the freak room for like so long until my dad came home. My dad then knock down the whole lock.
Then, F R E E at last, can go buy my bag peacefully. Yeah, right.
Then I realised that J8 actually don't sell ripples bag. What a damper. But at least we bought a shirt for my sis and my brother.
'You Had A Bad Day' Daniel Powter Meter : 10/10
a red hot stinking 10
Remarks : Gave it 10 because it was really lengthy and plain jane-ish bad.

'Duty N' ended my life.
Day 2 : 11 October 2008
Where : PHS
Went to SJ parade today, went there freakishly early and how would I know why? The bus moved faster la. Anyway, when they say Duty N (Duty NCO) is Jo, I was like relieved and thought maybe I will enjoy the parade.
But if things were like that, why would this thing be in the GeeNest World Book of Records?
What actually happened was Jo was late and guess who is the replacement?
ME
Things got from bad to worse, to unsavoury, to horrific and finally it decided to land in GeeNest World Book of Records. No more elaboration here, it's too lengthy and after all it was an abominable day, please spare me from going through it again.

'You Had A Bad Day' Daniel Powter Meter :
10/10
a red hot stinking 10.
Remarks: Gave it 10 because it was not just plain jane bad, it was excruciatingly unbearable even though the ordeal was shorter than Day 1.

BUT when I was browsing through Daniel Powter on imeem, I saw this in one of the comments.
"...God knew the best for us."
Yes, that is oh so true and it woke me, I tell you.

Saw this coolest video ever from yvonne's blog, the Olympic winner for mixed doubles badminton smashes a shuttle cock into a watermelon. Yes, into a watermelon.

1 day later.
Fed-up about the exams man and I also don't know why sial. There is something I didn't add in yesterday's post and it was rather depressing, huh? Yesterday's was like the extreme low and today's will be the other end of the spectrum. heh heh heh The sick feeling can easily change to killer whales swimming in my stomach. Eww, that sounds so freaking corny but I am left with no choice because my vocab is limited. Just think of how many alternatives my sis can think of. Cringe all you want but I have to steal that line from pre-teen novels.

In a nutshell, my estimate for how I fared for the exam is either waytothebottomofthepits bad or freakaliciously good.

Enling sent me these cartoons and I think it's quite interesting, enjoy!

Awesome thing of the day

邝老师was online and a freaking cool thing happened, she's in NV now!
YAY!
Like from P4/5 sia.
She was my P4/5 teacher, by the way.
She's cool.

1 Word : Ecstatic..!

EOYs are over, the year is almost coming to an end but as I write or type, there's this freaking naggy sinking feeling. There's this horrible bad vibe hovering about me, the more I think of it, the more it grew, it seems like a sick feeling now.

Only a matter of minutes and not even the 'c' of Ecstatic is left inside, talk about terrible moodswings. The picture and opening seems disturbingly irrelevant now.

What the heck, I'm not gonna write anymore. Later perhaps.
