I went for a much needed haircut, trimming away 2 inches. It's somewhat disaster-free but needs to settle down. Every single strand of hair is probably mourning for the loss of their older generations. But I now have a very thin ponytail if you compare with the before-haircut.
Frankly speaking, I love successful haircuts. I like it that it'll be a whole new look and also, the irritating strands sticking out might be trimmed off. Maybe the reason that gives hair salons business is the change they offer. A new hairstyle is probably one of the few changes that we can control in our lives. Maybe it's because we can be in control that it appeals to us.

Do you still remember Bibi Belle?!? If not, you should know dixie dot. Did you know that they were the names of a celeb's baby? I bet you don't know. Because you wouldn't even know the mom, Anna Caroline Ryder Richardson. (Google her yourself.) Anyway, the momma's born on 29 January... Do I sense some connection? I don't know, I always sense a certain connection with people who're born in January. Like the J babies are all one big family, same for the Febuary people, so on and so forth. I have always believed 17th January is a VVID - Very Very Important Date or VVSD Very Very Significant Day.
17th January 1929, the day Popeye first appeared and if you fast forward a little to 1969, the day Led Zeppelin's debut album is freaking released! Plus, I share the same birthday as Benjamin Franklin, Jim Carey and Mick Taylor (former guitarist of the Rolling Stones). The deaths I would not mention but if you want to see the whole list, here you go.
Okay the last thing - Elijah Bob Patricus Guggi Q. He/She (I didn't google/yahoo-ed him/her.) is Bono's kid. In case you don't know who Bono is, he's like the lead singer of U2. Okay, the point is the crazy name. Was he like intoxicated when his wife called him.............?
THE GREAT STORY OF ELIJAH BOB PATRICUS GUGGI Q
Wife : "dear, I don't know what to name our kid?!? I can't believe it, totally not. Ohhhhhhh! Whitney? Paris? Or, or, or, BARBIE! OH! That's like the best I've came up with. But no way, they'll think she's a bimbo like me... WAIT, is the kid like a guy or.................."
Elijah Wood walked past him in the nightclub.
Bono : "Elijah!"
Wife : " OH DEAR! That's faaannnntaabewwlus!" Actually Bono is calling Elijah. They started talking about Bob Marley's concert.
Bono : ".......blah yadda.......BOB?!?...........zzz........"
Wife : " Oh Bob? Great! Let me find my juicy couture paper..." Bono carries on talking about bob marley... "YAY! I found it! But dear, what if it's a girl?"
Bono finally heard her wife and coincidentally Spongebob and Patrick Star walked past.
Bono : "Patricus then."
Wife : [OH you know, she'll rave on about what a genius he is.]
Bono saw Patrick star hold a Gucci Bag and suddenly, Patrick's head dropped to the floor. And out came Maggi Q.
Bono : "Guggi Q"
Wife : " PERFECT, darling, I've got it all down, Elijah Bob Patri....click........"
Bono just puked all over Elijah Wood.
Okay, it's crappy but I enjoyed writing it!

I'll be lost in my books very soon, once I'm done with this. What can I say? "The book fever is back again!" I'm currently reading The Bloodwater Mysteries and yeah it's juvenile but it is captivating. I'm addicted to books, okay and I don't want to go to book rehab. (...They tried to make me go to rehab but I won't go go go....) Other than book rehab, some jokers are trying to pull me to 'closer' rehab. In other words, I'm addicted to Closer - Neyo.

I remember when I was young, I had this dream that Singapore had winter included in her weather collection. In the dream it wasn't full fledged winter yet but it was cold enough for me to wear my jacket 24/7. It's not like typical movie-winter, everywhere is just tinged with ice packs. But that was enough for everybody to rush to Wintertime as if it's GSS. Weird thing in the dream is, there wasn't any weather reports or any official announcement, it is as if everybody knew what to do and they were like doing something terribly normal. Maybe they expected such day to come after fantasizing over the prospect for decades?
My sudden recollection of the illogical dream came to me when I was getting fed up from the sudden gusts of chilling wind or what they call it the 北风. Now, if the 北风 is irritating me already, there should be a room prepared for me in Woodbridge when winter really comes to Singapore. FYI: I'm wearing a jacket already but my thighs are still irritated from Mr. 北风's arrival.
If winter really comes, we can wear boots without standing out like a sore thumb. But on the contrary, flip-flop companies will go bust; like who will wear them then? By then, there might be more cases of creative suicides, due to the harsher weather which in turn increases the financial burden on people. I guess jumping of HDB flats isn't popular now, huh? I'm surprised that when someone is so troubled that they want to commit suicide, they still can think of odd and fresh ideas to end it all. I've never thought of giving my short years on earth to three Bengal White Tigers even though they're rather cute looking. Neither did (and ever will) I have the guts to jump off 12 storeys no matter how thrilling flying fox is.

Got the photoscape zeng said and it is actually quite fun to play with. I used it to make collages of the pictures me & my sis took while walking.
This is pretty much what my neighbourhood looks like, much greener then yours, huh? FYI: I don't live in block 349.
This is all about trees, a bit too greenish for me, even though green is supposed to be good for your eyes. Actually, not all green is good for your eyes lah. Like as if bright lime green is good for your eyes.
Me and my sis went to the new library at Northpoint today. It was freaking noisy and packed with people. Weird thing, why wasn't there that much people when it was at the previous location? Whatever it is, I guess I should celebrate because the new library has new books, better interior design and better location! (:
Borrowed this 2 books about photography - Digital Compact Camera, Great Photos Everytime and Thoughtless acts. The former is like a guidebook on how to take great photos and the latter is just photos about thoughtless acts, which are acts that we do without really thinking.
Every page has a photo and photo only, no words.
Are you jealous?

I made a Poupee girl myself, after knowing about it from Jo's blog. The name poupee is quite odd (actually stupid) and it's supposed to be doll in french. I don't know why, French is beautiful but the way they used 'poupee' isn't. Haven't really got the hang of the game yet but now I have half decided to abandon it. It looked like fun only. Maybe when the bird stopped chirping 'new', when cobwebs form in the picture then will I log in again. The graphics are really good though, a pity it has such a boring game. Perhaps the webmasters have to 拜师学艺 from the creators of Sims but 'Poupee' (ew, cringe inwardly) have to keep their graphics or if they will, change the name.
Anyway, I saw a 卓文萱 Poupee doll.
Roiworld sooo much more entertaining than [ew name] game.
And a whole new roiworld is coming! Yay? Because I've recently got tired of it's dress up games and now that they're gonna reinvent it, I'm excited!
Roiworld is so much better because it's purely dress up games? It's by far the best of all the other mediocre dress up games I've tried and at least it's not some social networking site with dress-up.
Like, even mel plays roiworld? Or maybe she played before. I remember in English class mandy, huinie, mel & me played one of the game together and man, it's freaking funny.
What? You didn't know I play dress up games?!?!

Remember the girl-next-door Sun Ho? Well, she's not down to earth anymore, people. A change of image helped her increase her popularity overseas and also decrease her popularity in SG. But before you look down on this new image, I need to tell you that it earned her a ticket to US Fashion Week and collaboration with Wyclef Jean for China Wine and Tyson Beckford for Mr Bill. Personally, I think her songs are whiney and brainless, especially China Wine. And if I hear Mr. Bill or China Wine ever again, it'll give me serious migraine. It's like super irritating if you listen to it for too many times.Do I see a Britney wannabe?

To give an impression of what she is now.
By the way, In the bottom left corner picture, she looks like Vanessa William's role in Ugly Betty and yeah, if want to know who I'm refering to, go google it yourself.

I am shouting this out, to the bottomless sea;
Days are passing quick, but time is moving slow.I crave to kill time so much,I'm afraid I'll be a ferocious murderer. But each time the calendar sees me;I get so fearful that it ices my innards.I have endless unchecked boxes on the checklist, but I want to tick none of it.I yearn to get hold of the second-hand,but all I grab is air.

I wouldn't have known how entertaining Ugly Betty was if I had not watched it for the first time yesterday. And yes, it was the first time. Just blame it on the weird timeslot, I usually do not tune in to channel 5 at 10pm on thursdays even though I knew that Betty has such a cute boss.
Eric Mabius, Betty's boss. He looks better onscreen and reminds me of Keanu Reeves. (!) But Eric Mabius is 帅er.
(Sorry, I can't find a more fitting word.)
Michael Urie, who reminds me of Goofy. Remember Goofy?
(Mickey's best friend.)
Whilst watching, a question popped into my mind. 'Is the concept of atoms and molecules true?' Are we going to just take in what we were taught? What if everybody made a big big mistake? What if the concept of atoms and molecules aren't true?
Then my sis told me something about Brownian motion. I googled it and there are tons of hard-to-understand-thus-rendered-useless websites about Brownian motion and you know what? Those websites are almost identical.
Finally, I found something useful.
Ah, that tells me that I'm definitely on the right track but I still do not know what is Brownian motion all about. The one thing I know is... I am not going to learn about it online.

I did the mental age test once again and thought, "I must have done it wrongly the last time, I should be younger this time round." But NO, I did not turn back mental time instead it went faster. You must be itching to know the results but I must warn you, curiousity killed the cat, thus you having heart failure after seeing the results is none of my business. Oh and to further prepare you, my previous age was 32 years old and you better stop laughing.
精神年龄35岁

Anyway, my sister's 26 and jo's 17.

What would you do if you were lugging an unforgiving guitar on your way home and then your loyal shoelaces decided to untie themselves?
I would ignore it.
BUT PEOPLE, you should never ever freaking in your whole life ever do such a stupid thing especially if you are going to walk through an escalator.
Because if you ignore, your loyal buddy will get stuck into the escalator.! And that's what happened to me. It got stuck and I'll be standing there if the uncle never yanked it out for me. That was really scary, for a moment the scenes of getting stuck there for eons and my toe being engulfed into the moving black and yellow stripes flashed through my mind.
Note to self: Tie shoelaces twice before leaving house is a must.

I found this website, Fun With Words and it's like seriously GEEKY, man. There are lists of Proprietary Eponyms, Contronyms, Heteronyms and Palindromes. And no, Palindromes are not related in any way to Sarah Palin.
But there's an interesting article, it's Conflicting Proverbs. It is a whole list of proverbs that contradict each other. These are the ones I think is funny and for the whole list click - Conflicting Proverbs.

After half a day of smiling, sticking stickers and standing at the not-so-brightly lit tunnel of AMK, I'm tired. I always have the same feeling after flag days - exhausted. Not only from holding the can and standing for a long time, it's also the cheek muscles that are tired - from too much smiling. The weariness could also be attributed to the drama that unfolded in the morning. When we reached the canteen, there was less than a handful of students that assembled there. Pathetic. Then Kenneth came and it turned out that there was only 3 of us from Humility that actually came. The pathetic attendance was bad enough, but Mr Lau had to MIA. Then we waited at the foyer and thought NCDCC people were going too and the green bus was booked for the transportation. In the end it wasn't, the bus was for the NCDCC people. We went back to canteen and Soo Cheen told us that Cynthia said something like supposed to assemble at amk tunnel. The whole drama-mama day is so not over yet. The tunnel we thought or perhaps the one you thought too wasn't the tunnel they referred to and common sense will tell you that we found it eventually.
The tunnel drama segment ended.
Miscellaneous Drama-mama moments
1. I asked this guy for donations but he refused, then when he walked past Jo, who was behind me then he said "我要你". Can you imagine how disgusted me & jo was? I mean like he sooo not Brad Pitt, neither is he Keanu Reeves and how can he go around terrorizing innocent school girls who just want more CIP hours? That apparently wasn't enough for him, he looked back and it seems like he's going to come back. I was terrified and walked to the the guy in our group, perhaps that will discourage him and Jo followed me and apparently it worked. Like first time a guy's useful, hah. (I meant it as a joke, okay)
2. This guy (another male) donated for Kenneth and ranted for a long time. He looked super duper uber scared. Then the guy talked really loudly too and now that I thought of it, he looked kind of familiar.
3. Then there's this woman who asked "How are you going to make money if you don't ask?" Whoa, whoa, whoa. We're not making money and can't we rest for like a minute? We may be young but we are not robots.
I think that's all for today and I didn't realise that wrote that much.!
