JNCO's a few days away only. 5 days away. School's opening soon. 10 days later. Homework's 1/4 done, great.

Stop moping and start w-o-r-k-i-n-g!

An abnormal dash of self-motivation, rare for a hardcore moper like me. Don't get me wrong, I don't like mop the floor everyday and neither do I like mopping. Oh and I realised that cracking horribly 'cold' jokes is an excellent stress-reliever. You should try it too, that is if you can bring yourself to do it!

Now that I'm in a better mood, I'll tell you what I'm looking forward to. And it's the GJY end-of-year countdown chalet! (: A nice way to end the year, huh? That is if you don't bring up the new year resolution thing...

Publish date : 17/12/2008, Today Newspaper.
This should serve as a warning to all who are concerned about their PC's health. It's really easy to make the transition from IE to mozilla or chrome and I assume you wouldn't mind waiting one or two minutes to prolong you PC's lifespan. (Yeah, I know it's an excellent assumption.)
Another thing is, why did they wait till now to warn us common folks of this major flaw? Was it a well kept secret to boost PC sales? Did a humane scientist/computer engineer reveal this fact only after years of struggle with the rest his community? Or is this article an attempt to attract more people to use other browsers? Am I going to just take in what the papers write? But even if I do doubt the source, how can I ever doublecheck it? What other sources do I have? Please do not tell me 'you always have the internet'. Come on, the net has millions of information yeah, but to find a truly useful information is like trawling through the rubbish dump for a diamond ring.

I'm back from the Mission Trip and I've uploaded photos, enjoy!
The place where we ate the yummy fried rice.
The same place, only this is the back door leading out to the alley.
The mailbox, I didn't notice it until my sis showed me the photo.

Our shoes and this is not an accurate potrayal of the shoe 'corner'. There were much more shoes and it's messier.

The staircase leading to the rooftop.

The rooftop.

Okay, now for the photos of the kids!

Jordan and my sis.

Cute!
Awww.... Isn't he adorable?

Joshua, brother of Jordan! He's quite mature and sensible actually.
Jia Yao, 2nd in the brothers of 4. 1st is Jia Lun, then him, then Jia Yi (he reminds me of a shao lin boy) and then the last one is a baby. I forgot his name, but I still remember his nickname, 叉烧包!
The twins!

Our last meal, it was the same restaurant as the one we ate our last meal when we went to 三合港.

---

During this mission trip, I learnt a lot. (as in really alot) I've overcomed things that I feared and this trip is a different experience as compared to the previous one to 三合港. But now that I think back of the things we did, I feel that I could have been better prepared and that's something to take note of. Another thing is, I only realised how tired I was when I reached home. Thank God he gave us strength till the last day! To me, the bus ride home was shorter than the one to Kemayan and it's because I kept sleeping throughout the whole journey!

Lomo Course today, taught by an external trainer. I didn't know it was lomo course at first, people told me that it's a photo-developing course. Anyway, lomography is cool. It's an interesting but costly hobby. Maybe it's so interesting that people choose to be blinded by the cost factor. It's nice to handle film, it's like getting back to basics. You don't get to see the results immediately like digital photography and get a weird sense of thrrrill when you send it for developing. However, the effects often turn out worse than expected but you will want to try again, to keep trying and feel the excitement. Now that I think of it, digital photography seems lack lustre as compared to lomo. But of course digi photography is more stable.

Another thing, I was supposed to collect my new passport today and because it clashes with the lomo course, I have to leave early. But my mom can't leave, she have to finish a report and in the end I went for the whole course. It was only when my mom reach home that we realised that there was a letter that says to collect the passport from 05/12/2008 onwards. Thank God that my mom has to finish the report or else I will miss the course and make an empty trip to lavender. But which also means that I have to miss tomorrow's course.   :(
