Received an email about a guy/girl turning into a babe with makeup. I don't know whether it's a girl or a guy (the email said it's a guy) but to me, it should be a girl.

Technology work wonders, huh?
In a way it's good but then, isn't it tiring and untrue? Concealing your flaws and maintaining a facade of beauty endlessly - wouldn't your life be a humongous fib?
Imagine spending hours to do up your face only to wash it away at the end of the day. Not that washing up can be done under a few seconds.
Now, who's complaining about too little time?

Ever since after the exams, I've been in a full fledged slack mode. Everyday is .... slack. The engine can't start up, or probably never did. Classes are back to normal - it just spells torture. ugh. They're trying to turn us into productive worker ants that studies all day long - revolting. I think ants are robots. Mechanically devised and set to work and work. Probably created to give workaholics a little assurance that they're not alone. And to lazy kids? A chance to nag. I think people should stop using the ant parable or comparison anymore. It's so overused and uncreative! It should be banned to spike an increase in creativity levels. (Get a life, ants! You're no longer popular. Go back to your tiny nests filled with food you'll never eat!) OH and their lovely appearance did no help to make me like them more. Those brown eggy bodies cut into 3, the stick thin legs and feelers. Who knows, they keep stocking up food and do not actually eat them that's why they have stick thin legs. Dr Oz is not happy... He says ants should eat their food properly to be healthy and not get anorexic.

Perhaps instead of memorizing formulas and properties, why can't we do something creative? Just like how we were supposed to be. It's a fact that is instilled in our minds from young. That education is good for you, it will be correct. But who knows? The educated civilisation might be wrong. Everyone might be wrong. Maybe properties are not important after all. But, I am not ready to dive in and search for loopholes. It's.... Just not something I'll like to do. So, the 'Great Big Lie' or giant loophole will stay in my little fantasy. I will continue to dream that someday, we'll learn totally different things. Like Mathsmetry or Biosicsology. Or maybe even Chimology. What ever it is, the person who ever discovers the loophole will be my favourite person. Until I leave school. Because studying will not be relevant to me.

Now you got me started.

Anyway, here's joke from 人小鬼大. It's FUNNY!

问∶糖果是公的还是母的?

答∶母的。因为糖果生蚂蚁!

Henderson Bridge

This is the later part of the walk. Around the faber place, I guess.

The view of the sea or cable cars/jewel box.

The 'binocular' thingy I think, those that you use to see faraway stuff. It's $1 per 'look' but the lens are foggy already. $1 or no $1, you won't be able to see the 'picturesque' view.

You think you can hide from the camera?

Another set : 18 May 09

It a telephone booth. (obviously?) There isn't much of these in Sg and look at the new posters. Anyway, it stinks in there - musty and cooped-up smell even though it's not fully enclosed.

Here's joh with it.

hahaha, she traded a few shots with an eclipse mint.

Here's her fishing one out.

Then, a commercial!

Then it's back to the hide-me-from-the-cam-with-my-palm.
People think that their palms are big enough to block the cam. Not so true.

Oh, this is the earlier part of the day. We're forced to take taxi (GRR.) because 'public transport is too slow'. And we're all bushed, slept in the taxi.

But I doze off for like only 30 secs? Cos when I opened my eyes, I saw them sleeping then.........yeah. emilee wrote : ''can't sleep in peace with qiujin around'' hahaha.

Some flat nice flower. Awful colours man.

The buds of the flower below. Odd and kind of exotic.

Random flower. Close up below.

Just love those droplets.

Droplets = Rain
Rain = Fever?

Got sore throat and fever - torturous. Woke up at 2+ this morning when I thought I 熬过了一晚. Anyway, I had this weird dream. It's like some campfire or tribal thing. There's this big fire and there are lots of people in a huge circle. Then everybody in the circle is having fever. I know, it's ridiculous. Then there are people outside the circle or not belonging to the circle. That part, it's a bit fuzzy. And I'm not sure what 'we' were doing. Dancing? Anyway, it's funny.

Got my results back - quite bad. Yeah, I can virtually hear the nags, not particularly from others. Stinky procrastination (overused and irritating word - understatement) strikes back. Procrastination had evolved from a problem to an excuse to wriggle out from everything. I try to remind myself constantly that the Os are more or less a year away. But apparently some tiny part of me has the mindset that it's not that near.

You know, just like waking up in the weekends or holidays. You want to wake up at say, 7. But some part of you knows that that's not gonna happen. Either you've tried that numerous times before or you think you need to sleep in to compensate for the lost hours in the week. But you force yourself to set the alarm at 7 or even have backup-alarms... Fast forward to the morning at 7 - the alarm rings, you're tired and don't feel like waking up, then you 'stop' the alarm. Not snooze. You end up waking at 11. You will feel as if you've wasted so much time and don't want to do anything else. That was my typical weekend/holiday.

Things need to change.
Things will change.
